Bear: Text Styling Sidebar

UX Design / Bad UX

Problem: 

To maintain a minimal interface, Bear App hides its text styling options under a quill icon. This means if I want to style a number of sections of text, I will have to tap twice for each style change. 

Solution: 

Have a styling sidebar that appears when a user moves their cursor close to its proximity, but hides while a user is typing or their cursor moves out of the vicinity.
